About me
I'm an ATA-certified English into Spanish medical translator with a background in law and plain language. Since 2017, I've worked in U.S. healthcare, supporting organizations that need Spanish medical communication to be accurate, accessible, and ready for real-world patient use.
My work began in legal contexts, where clarity and precision were non-negotiable, and later expanded into healthcare and health insurance environments in the United States. There, I worked with patient-facing and administrative materials where trust, cultural responsiveness, and regulatory awareness are essential.
I also bring hands-on experience as an in-house translator and project manager at a California-based medical translation agency. In that role, I oversaw high-volume, compliance-sensitive projects for healthcare clients, collaborating closely with internal teams and external linguists to ensure quality, consistency, and smooth delivery.
